We believe that everyone can engage their talents, qualities and skills in work that is worthwhile and fulfilling, and each of us has been supporting organisations and individuals to do so for more than 20 years. Work is a huge part of our lives, not a separate entity. To live life fully, meaningfully and enjoyably requires us to choose work that is a true expression of who we are and what is important to us. And to lead our businesses with this awareness and understanding.
Currently we are experiencing the most profound change in the world of work since the IT revolution. Many organisations are fiercely downsizing and losing employees, experience and skills and the legacy of redundancy and early retirement is a culture of ‘who's-next’. The leadership challenge we face today is beyond the old models of thinking. Leaders now need to engage their people in more productive and committed ways than ever before. They need to really understand what each individual requires to bring meaning to their work, and to re-frame work as a source of personal development and expression, rather than just as a means to an end.
Our in-company clients are finding new ways to inspire their leaders and engage their teams, and are adopting a more sophisticated approach to maximising the talents and true potential of their people.
The internet explosion of start up businesses and freelancers is evidence of a huge shift in our thinking already. Many of our individual clients have taken this route or found opportunities much more pertinent to their real skills, personalities and desires.
